About us & the history of our hotel
On 18 July 1931, our grandfather Fritz Stremme and his wife Jenny took over the former Höstermann restaurant here in Bergneustadt and renamed the newly acquired business Hotel-Restaurant Feste Neustadt.
Today, three generations later and 90 years after our hotel was founded, we, Axel and Anne Tomasetti, run the traditional family business as a contemporary hotel with cosy guest rooms and many beautiful rooms for eating and drinking, celebrating, meeting, enjoying and relaxing.

Our Bergneustadt
Bergneustadt is located in the Oberberg district, approx. 50 kilometres east of Cologne and is surrounded by large coniferous and mixed forests. The town was first mentioned in a document in 1301 – today, around 18,000 people live here.
